In this series of multimedia collages, artists Lisa Chancellor (Devi Seetal) and Kelly Armijo (ArmijoDesigns) explore the concept of innate divinity through archetypal portraiture. Using Tarot symbolism as a framework, the pieces express fierceness, grace and dignity, adorned with rich fabrics and metal leafing.

 

The series explores the idea of women, from all different 

backgrounds and circumstances, finding a renewed inner/outer strength by seeing themselves in an extraordinary way. This work celebrates the inherent divine nature we all possess.
